On February 2nd, 2026 a post went up on Facebook of a lost Kelpie dog east of town. A few days later when the owner had no luck hand capturing, she reached out for help with trapping. Brenda went out to the property where she had been seen daily traveling and talked with the owner as well as the property owner. They decided to set the trap up on Feb 5th, but bungee it open to see if she would enter for food. She would not enter initially but there was quite a bit going on at the trapping area. Once asked not to hang around the trap area, bait and get out of there, she settled down and entered the trap. Brenda added some of the good stuff that day HAH! She was captured around midnight on Feb 9th. They loaded the trap up and took her home before getting her out, as we always suggest. Her owner was super excited and grateful to have her back home safely.
