First case in 2024, successful 
This pretty gal is Crystal. She had been seen in the same area continuously over the last 4 days that we know of (possibly lost since the 8th though). Our temperatures have been as low as -40 with the windchill. After seeing a few posts about her, with no owner posting her as lost, I reached out to a friend who lives in the area she was hanging out in. She checked with neighbors & nobody knew this pup. This morning I got a call from my friend who said she had spotted her on her deck. She bolted off. My friend placed food on the deck to lure her back so that we could place a trap. When she came back for the food it was go time. We loaded up & headed over. Once we placed the trap it took roughly an hour & she was in. Safe & sound. While I cannot go into the details of what happens next, I can say we have located the owner. Crystal is also ironically originally from the same house as Diamond (who we trapped last year). That was not her current residence. Thank you to all who tried to help get her to safety through this nasty weather. You are appreciated!
