Denali’s story is a very long one. This beautiful girl originally came from a hoarding case in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She was adopted from the shelter after they removed all of the animals from the hoarding case. She was visiting the dog park with her new owners when she fled for her life after a loud noise. This escape took place in July of 2022. Lucky for her she happened to show up at Brenda’s family members house. They began feeding her daily but she would not dare come near them. We set out our Tomahawk 610D and captured her on 8/1/2022. She was returned home, but this wouldn’t be the last we would see Denali.
Denali escaped her home again in September of 2022. This time she would only travel at night in an attempt to avoid human contact. We found the area she was hanging around in & set the trap. She refused to enter the box trap & traveled off into a different area. It was extremely hard to get sightings on her. We put out a ton of signage, we got sightings here and there. The final sighting we got was at Ram Trucking. We immediately networked to get ahold of them (it was a weekend and they were closed). They allowed us to set a feeding station and camera. There she was!! We successfully trapped her again on 10/4/2022 in a Missy Trap.
